Understanding the Proposed Hardfork Changes for the Polygon PoS Blockchain
The Polygon PoS blockchain is proposing a hardfork to improve network stability & usability by reducing gas spikes. One proposed change is increasing the baseFeeChangeDenominator from 8 to 16 to smooth out rate of increase/decrease in baseFee and make the network more stable for users.
